Eleonora Piccinni


Eleonora is a senior public affairs professional with a 20 years’ experience in trade association both at national and European level. She began her career in industry as permanent delegate to the EU for the French mechanical industries (FIM). Her role was to bring French industry closer to the EU institutions and representing it at Commission experts’ group, hearings, debates on a variety of dossiers. One key delivery was also to raise awareness on explaining how EU legislation is adopted and delivering training on it.

She then gained experience for a decade in Orgalim, Europe ‘s technology industries, where she was lobbying on technical legislation of the mechanical branch (Machinery Directive, Pressure Equipment, Gas Appliances Regulation, Construction Products Regulation). She was responsible to represent the organisation in the European institutions, drafting position papers and guide of interpretation of the legislation.

More recently, she worked as a consultant for the Italian mechanical Industry (ANIMA), focusing on Artificial Intelligence. Eleonora’s experience in dealing with a variety of audience at all levels will help Construction Products Europe to continue voicing its members’ interests. Eleonora holds a Master degree in Translation and is fluent in French, English and Italian.
